Job Description – Sales Manager (Tamil Nadu)

Industry: Tyre, Molding, Friction, Rubber, and Cow Mat
Position: Sales Manager
Location: Tamil Nadu (Based in Chennai)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹70,000 per month + performance-based incentives (Depending on experience & skills)

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of sales experience in the Tyre, Molding, Friction, Rubber, or Cow Mat industry.

  • Strong understanding of B2B sales, industrial clients, and OEMs.

  • Proven track record of independently handling the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closure and post-sales account management.

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Language proficiency in Tamil, Malayalam, and English (preferred).

  • Valid driving license and a strong willingness to travel regularly to client locations across South India.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management

  • Independently manage the entire sales process, including identifying potential clients such as manufacturers, traders, and OEMs.

  • Proactively engage with prospects through calls, emails, and in-person visits.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups to nurture leads and convert them into long-term customers.

  • Schedule and conduct meetings to close sales and expand client relationships.

  • Oversee customer orders, ensuring timely deliveries and payment collections.

Business Development & Expansion

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the Tamil Nadu market.

  • Conduct frequent field visits within Tamil Nadu to strengthen client engagement.

  • Travel extensively to client locations to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.

  • Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to drive revenue growth.

  • Provide sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.

  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.

Preferred Skills & Traits:

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without constant supervision.

  • Strong industry network, particularly within the Tyre, Molding, Friction, Rubber, or Cow Mat sector.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience in sales forecasting, business expansion, and account management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting.

  • Willingness to travel frequently and spend significant time engaging with clients in the field.
