Job Title: MEP Project Planner
Location: Benghazi, Libya

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Project Planner to develop, monitor, and manage project schedules for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Scheduling

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with defined tasks, durations, and dependencies.

Create and update Gantt charts, timelines, and critical path analyses using planning software.

Resource Management

Plan and allocate required resources including manpower, materials, and equipment.

Monitor resource usage and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and deadlines.

Collaboration and Communication

Coordinate closely with project managers, procurement, engineers, and subcontractors to align on schedules and deliverables.

Conduct regular progress meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Progress Tracking

Track project performance against planned schedules and milestones.

Identify potential delays and prepare recovery plans.

Generate and present periodic progress and variance reports.

Risk Analysis

Assess scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with timelines, quality standards, and project requirements.

Continuous Improvement

Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned.

Apply best practices and innovative planning techniques to enhance future project delivery.

 

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within the MEP industry.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project (mandatory).

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
