Installation, Commissioning & Field Service Support
Perform installation, commissioning, testing, and startup of mechanical and hydraulic press machines at customer sites.
Provide on-site technical support during machine installation, commissioning, and production trials.
Conduct machine inspections and ensure equipment is operating according to technical specifications and safety standards.
Support customers during machine handover and operator training activities.
Breakdown Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Attend customer breakdown calls and provide timely troubleshooting support.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLCs, servo drives, frequency converters, encoders, HMIs, industrial PCs, electrical panels, sensors, and control systems.
Analyze machine faults and implement corrective actions to minimize machine downtime.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurring failures.
PLC Programming & Automation Support
Read, analyze, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs, preferably Siemens S7 series PLCs.
Diagnose and resolve communication issues related to Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, and other industrial communication networks.
Modify PLC logic and machine control parameters as required during troubleshooting and machine upgrades.
Support automation-related improvements and retrofitting projects.
Electrical Design & Upgradation
Design, develop, and modify electrical circuits for machine upgrades and modernization projects.
Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
Design and develop electrical panels for press machine applications.
Execute electrical modifications and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Drives, Motion Control & HMI Support
Troubleshoot and maintain Siemens drives, converters, inverters, servo motors, and motion control systems.
Configure and troubleshoot Siemens and Beckhoff Industrial PCs and HMI systems.
Support integration and commissioning of automation and control systems.
Customer Support & Service Management
Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding machine operation and maintenance.
Maintain strong customer relationships through professional and timely service delivery.
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
Coordinate with internal engineering and service teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare detailed service reports with clear observations, corrective actions, and recommendations.
Maintain records of breakdowns, service visits, machine modifications, and spare parts utilization.
Generate technical reports, commissioning reports, and maintenance documentation.
Update management regarding service activities and project status.
Continuous Learning & Technical Development
Participate in technical training programs conducted by the company and overseas principals.
Stay updated with advancements in automation, PLCs, drives, industrial communication systems, and machine control technologies.
Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the service team.
Qualification :
Bachelor degree

B.E. Electrical Engineering

Diploma in Electrical Engineering (D.E.E.)
Experience
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Industrial Machine Service.
Proven experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery.
Mandatory field service experience in machine tool industries, metal stamping press lines, or industrial automation equipment.
Experience working directly at customer sites and handling breakdown maintenance independently.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Siemens S7 Series PLCs.
Ability to read, troubleshoot, and modify PLC programs.
