Job Title:
Date Production & Supply Operations Manager
Job Objective:
To oversee the entire value chain of date production—from harvesting at the farm to industrial processing, through storage and finally shipping—ensuring quality, operational efficiency, minimal waste, and compliance with both local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Farm Production Stage:
Coordinate with farm teams to determine and implement optimal harvesting schedules.
Supervise the primary sorting of harvested dates and transportation to processing facilities.
2. Industrial Processing Stage:
Oversee production line operations, including cleaning, sorting, washing, sterilization, drying/moisturizing, pitting, and packaging.
Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO 22000, HACCP).
Collaborate with maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
3. Storage Stage:
Manage appropriate storage solutions (refrigerated or dry) depending on date varieties.
Implement inventory tracking systems such as FIFO or RFID.
Monitor inventory levels, expiry, and shelf-life management.
4. Shipping & Distribution Stage:
Coordinate with logistics teams for scheduling, prioritizing, and preparing shipments.
Oversee final packaging, labeling, and export documentation.
Ensure cold chain logistics compliance and adherence to international export standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Food Technology (Master’s degree preferred).
At least 7 years of relevant experience in the food or date production industry.
In-depth understanding of food safety and quality control systems.
Experience with ERP-based inventory and production management systems.
Key Skills:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent organizational and operational planning skills.
Proficient in reporting, data interpretation, and performance analysis.
Fluent in English, particularly for export communication and documentation.
