Job Description: CAS & Class-A Modeler (Alias / ICEM)

Location: Manesar , Gurgaon, India
Experience Level: 5–12 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time 

About the Role

We are looking for highly skilled Alias or ICEM modelers who specialize in CAS (Concept Class) and/or Class-A surfacing. This role is critical to delivering top-notch design models for automotive exteriors and interiors. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and clay teams to bring concept sketches to life

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop digital models in Alias/ICEM from sketches or scan data
  • Work on both early-stage CAS and production-level Class-A surfacing
  • Ensure topological quality, G2/G3 continuity, and aesthetic harmony
  • Support design iterations, reviews, and final delivery of 3D data
  • Collaborate with design, clay, and engineering teams to meet deadlines

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Required Skills & Tools

  • Alias Automotive / ICEM Surf / Blender (with automotive plugins)
  • Strong understanding of surface development, feasibility, and production requirements
  • Ability to interpret sketches, scan data, and reverse engineering
  • Exposure to OEM or design studio standards

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Automotive/Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in a design consultancy or OEM environment
  • Solid portfolio with CAS / Class-A projects (showreel/3D file links appreciated)
